Code of Conduct

Our community is committed to the following behaviour.

  1. We are inclusive.

We are here to provide a positive experience for everyone.

Examples of behaviour that contributes to creating an inclusive environment include:

    • We are kind to others.
    • We are using a welcoming and inclusive language.
    • We are respectful of different viewpoints and appreciate the differences between each participant.
  2. We act sustainably. We try to minimise our ecological footprint before, during and after a meetup.

Examples of behaviour that contributes to creating a sustainable event include:

    • Using public transportation to arrive / leave the event venue improves our karma.
    • Eating and drinking as much as we like and not more. Take the rest with you.
    • We share what we know to reduce our carbon footprint.
  3. We are collaborative.

We are here to share what we know and learn from each other.

Examples of behaviour that contributes to creating a collaborative event include:

    • Every voice is equally important: We foster interaction between different people to improve collaboration and increase our gains.
    • Asking open questions is a good starting point to increase understanding and improve collaboration.
    • Sharing is caring: We share our knowledge to improve our community.

Thank you for taking care.
